Devotional Reflection
Over the past few days, you have been learning to walk with courage and to live by faith rather than by sight. Today, God gives you another reassuring promise. Before you take your next step, He has already gone ahead of you.
How often do we worry about tomorrow? We imagine conversations that have not happened, challenges we have not yet faced and outcomes we cannot control. Fear likes to race ahead of us, filling tomorrow with uncertainty. Yet God’s presence has already arrived where your worries are trying to take you.
Moses spoke these words to encourage Joshua as he prepared to lead God’s people into unfamiliar territory. The promise was simple but powerful: the Lord goes before you, remains with you and will never abandon you. That promise still speaks to every believer today.
Whatever awaits you this week, remember that you are never the first to arrive. God is already there, preparing the way with His wisdom, His grace and His perfect timing. Because He goes before you, you can move forward with quiet confidence instead of anxious uncertainty.

Prayer
Father, thank You for always going before me. Jesus, help me trust Your leading when the future feels uncertain. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with courage and quiet confidence as I follow You. Amen.
