Saturday reflection and Scripture
Saturday Reset
Saturday can be the moment when we stop carrying everything from the week. We may still have unanswered questions, unfinished work and concerns about family, finances or the future, but we can place them before God.
We do not have to solve everything today. God is still God, and we can rest in His presence.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
“Father, I give You what I cannot carry, and I trust You with what I cannot control.”

God bless you and welcome. My name’s Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for joining us on our Hidden Treasures. It is Saturday, whether it’s your evening, your morning, or the middle of the day, we’re just going to pray right now for this Saturday that we will learn to be still.
We’re going to jump straight through to the beautiful prayers of David. We’re going to go to Psalm 46, verse 10. And without further ado, let’s get straight into prayer.
Father, it’s been a busy week. So right now, on this Saturday, we pray for stillness, we pray for calm, and we pray for the working week to disappear in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray over our minds and our emotions. Lord, that you’ll give us physical rest and emotional rest. Lord, if we are feeling tired and exhausted, Lord, we got work fatigue. We’re tired at this morning. We’re tired at the afternoon. We’re tired at this evening.
But right now we pray for family. We pray for home. We pray for relationships. And Lord, those feelings, dear God, of just going through the working week, we ask you, Father, that you will carry us and bless us. But Lord, as we, dear God, come to that place of Psalm 46, verse 10, be still and know that I’m God. I pray that the stillness of God, that the power of the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ will just carry you.
Father, we thank you for this hour. We thank you for this moment. But every day we just pray that you will just cover us in your love, your grace, and your mercy. But right now, Lord, we pray for peace of mind. We pray for peace of hearts. We pray, dear God, that we will find restoration, that we will find ourselves fully restored, ready for a working week on Monday morning. But right now, Lord, we ask you that you will bless us from the crown of our head to the very sole of our feet. I pray that the Spirit of the Living God will carry you. Thank you for joining us on Hidden Treasures. Be still and know that I am God.

Sunday reflection and Scripture
A Sunday in God’s Presence
Sunday gives us an opportunity to turn our attention deliberately towards God. Whether we are going to church, working, caring for somebody, travelling or simply sitting quietly at home, God’s presence is with us.
We can thank Him for bringing us through another week and place the new week into His hands.
“The LORD has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.”
“Lord, thank You for this Sunday. Renew my heart, strengthen my faith and lead me into the week ahead.”

God bless you. It is Hidden Treasures, and it might be Sunday morning, it might be Sunday evening or Sunday night. God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper.
We’re just going to pray very, very gently, and we’re going to pray out of Psalms 118, verse 24. This is our prayer. The Lord has done it this very day. Let us rejoice today and be glad.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we give you thanks for another Sunday, a day of rest. So Lord, we pray, dear God, whether we’re off to church, whether we’re leading church, Father, whatever we may be doing today or just resting with the family, we thank you, Lord, that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for encouragement, we pray for restoration, and we pray for healing. And Lord, decisions that we got to make, I ask you, Father, that we will walk in wisdom for the days that lie ahead. But this day, Lord, whether it’s Sunday morning, Sunday evening, or Sunday afternoon, I pray for God’s provision and protection over our lives. Father, we thank you that there is a stillness in our heart right now. We thank you that this is a new day and God’s presence is with each and every one of us.
But wherever we are across this world, we pray that the love of God will renew our heart, strengthen our faith, and get us ready for a brand new day tomorrow morning. Monday morning, as Monday approaches, we pray that the love of God will carry us through our working week and whatever the day may be. But right now we rest and we be still, but we rejoice in the power and in the greatest name in heaven and earth.
Have a beautiful Sunday. Don’t ever give up. The Lord Jesus Christ is with you, and the Holy Spirit is leading you to peace. God bless.
