Fear Will Not Win
Day 17 of 30
Today’s Scripture • 2 Corinthians 5:7
“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
Devotional Reflection
Yesterday, God encouraged you to step forward with courage because He promised to be with you wherever you go. Today, He gently reminds you that the Christian life is not guided by what you can always see, but by the One who sees everything.
There will be moments when the road ahead is clear, but there will also be seasons when the next step feels uncertain. It is during those times that faith quietly grows. Faith is not the absence of questions; it is the confidence that God remains faithful even when the answers have not yet appeared.
Walking by faith means choosing to trust God’s promises above your changing circumstances. It means believing that He is working, even when you cannot yet see the outcome. Every faithful step, however small, becomes an act of confidence in the God who has never failed His people.
As you continue this journey, remember how far the Lord has already brought you. The fears that once seemed overwhelming are beginning to lose their hold because your eyes are gradually being lifted from the circumstances around you to the Saviour who walks beside you.
Today’s Truth
Faith helps me trust God beyond what I can presently see.
Today’s Anchor
I choose faith because God sees what I cannot.
Prayer
Father, thank You for leading me even when I cannot see the whole path. Jesus, teach me to walk by faith each day. Holy Spirit, strengthen my confidence in Your faithful guidance. Amen.
