Fear Will Not Win

Day 3 of 10

Today’s Scripture • Psalm 46:1

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

Devotional Reflection

Over the past two days, we have discovered that God’s love can never be taken from us and that His presence never leaves us. Today we take another step on our journey. We learn that God is not only with us—He is our refuge.

A refuge is a place of safety. It is somewhere you can run when life feels uncertain, where you find shelter from the storm and strength to continue. The psalmist reminds us that God is not a distant observer watching from heaven. He is an ever-present help, ready to meet us in every challenge we face.

There will be moments when fear tries to convince you that the storm is greater than your faith. In those moments, remember where your security truly rests. Your confidence is not found in having all the answers, but in knowing the One who holds you securely.

Today, choose to run towards God rather than away from Him. His arms remain open, His strength never fails, and His refuge is always available for those who seek Him.

Today’s Truth

God is my safe refuge in every circumstance I face.

Today’s Anchor

I am safe because God is my refuge and strength.

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength. Jesus, help me run to You before fear takes hold. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with courage and lasting peace. Amen.
