Fear Will Not Win

Devotional Reflection

Today you begin the fifth stage of this journey. During the past twenty days, God has lovingly met you in your fears, renewed your mind and strengthened your faith. Now you begin to discover what it means to live in the freedom Christ has already secured for you.

Freedom is not simply the absence of fear. It is the presence of Christ shaping every part of your life. Fear may still try to knock at the door of your heart, but it no longer has the authority to take up residence there. Through the Holy Spirit, God has given you a new way to live—one marked by peace, hope and quiet confidence.

Real freedom grows as we continue walking with Jesus day by day. We become less controlled by our circumstances and more anchored in His promises. The chains that once seemed impossible to break begin to lose their power because God’s truth has become stronger than fear’s voice.

As you enter this new stage, do not look back at the person you once were. Instead, thank God for the work He has already begun in your life. You are learning to live as someone who has been set free by the grace of Christ.
