0:04 God bless you. God bless you. Good evening wherever you are in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for joining us at this hour. The Spirit of the Lord is with each and every one of us wherever you are. We’re calling on the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for joining us on radio. Thank you for joining us across these social platforms wherever you are, scattered across the world. The love of Jesus Christ is over your lives. We’re going to jump straight into the power of the Word of God and we welcome every one of you. We’re going to be here for about 45 minutes, you know, round about that sort of time. We’re going to just pray and we’re going to seek the Father’s heart. You know, if there’s ever a time that we need the power of prayer is right now. So wherever you are across this world, we welcome each and every one of you. Let’s go straight to the beautiful book of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28.

Matthew 11:28 And The Need For Rest

0:42 Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we need rest tonight. Lord, we are praying, dear God, that the Spirit of the Living God will draw us in, Lord, like never before. Lord, it’s been a long old day. We’re weary and we’re tired, and we come to you in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Father, we thank you for the power, the power that just rests in the wonderful name of Jesus. And dear God, I pray that Matthew 11, 28 will come alive in our spirit because you’re calling us, Jesus. So Lord, we need you in our lives, we need you in our spirit, we need you in our workplace, Lord, at home, wherever we are. Lord, we pray that the love of Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit, will just strengthen us wherever we are resting at this hour. But Lord, as you call us through the beautiful book of Matthew 11, 28, come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Father, we need rest tonight. Lord, we pray for every heart that’s weary, every mind that is burdensome right now, that the presence and the love of Jesus Christ will just bring patience, stillness, and Lord, we need hope. Lord, we need patience because the world is very frantic, very fragile. And Lord, as we look across the platform of the world, Lord, we need stability. We need hope. And as we come to the cross of Calvary, Lord, whatever the hour is, whatever the day is, whatever the time zone is, wherever we are across this world, we call on the name of Jesus. And Father, we thank you that you call us through the living word, that you never leave us nor forsake us. And right now, we need the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we need to fill this rhythm, the rhythm of God, and you tell us to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto thee. So Lord, we need everything added unto thee right now. Because Lord, we are carrying heavyweight, we’re carrying burdens, we’re carrying fears, we’re carrying doubts. Lord, today has been a stretch, has been a trial. Lord, I just pray for everyone that is going through the valley. Lord, the valley of uncertainty, the valley of dryness, Lord, the valley, dear God, of pain, worry, and fear. But we rise up right now, Lord. We come to the cross of Calvary. We come, dear God, to the word of God and we say, Jesus, will you just carry us? Because we’re weary and we’re tired. And Lord, you’re calling us right now when we feel very low, tired, and exhausted. I pray for anyone, dear God, that is feeling exhausted in the skin that they walk in. I pray for anyone tonight, dear God, that just feels that they’ve hit that area of being burnt out. Lord, that their bodies just feel burnt out, just exhausted and really tired. And those that need a spiritual rest tonight, Holy Spirit, just refresh hearts, refresh minds, bodies and souls, Lord. And we need the love of Jesus like never before. Father, just protect us and carry us. Let your grace just be unfolding in our hearts at this moment.

Naming The Burdens We Carry

3:50 Father, we need that rest. We need the Spirit of the Lord to carry us. Lord, everyone that’s carrying unwanted suitcases, fears, doubts. Lord, we got luggage on our back. We got rucksacks on our back. Lord, we need the glory of God, the power of Jesus Christ. And as we stretch out right now, Lord, we call on that beautiful name. We call on that one and only name, the name of Jesus, wherever we are scattered across the world, whatever this time zone is, whatever the rhythm of life is, whatever the situations are that we are going to and going through, Lord, the valleys, the trials, the worries, the doubts. Lord, the spiritual exhaustion. Lord, we need spiritual rest tonight. And we come to the cross. We come to the word of God and we pray for one another. We carry one another. For those that are weary and tired, their legs are aching, their backs are hurt, their fingers are sore, dear God, feet are aching. Lord, we are tired carrying the weight of the world. And Lord, will you help us to come to Jesus, to find that place, dear God, of just releasing the worries, the fears, the anxieties, the doubts, the uncertainty, the burdens, Lord, the burdens that many people are carrying, the doubts that people are carrying, the uncertainty that we’re carrying. Lord, I thank you, Lord, that there is breakthrough at the name of Jesus. Lord, I believe shackles are gone. I believe freedom is on the table tonight. I believe that your glory is wrapped around us tonight. I believe your mercy is over our lives. Whatever the time zone is, whatever the rhythm is, whatever the day is, whatever the time zone is, wherever we are, Lord, we just close our eyes and we just say, Jesus, please help. Lord, we’re tired of work. We’re tired of life. Lord, and it’s another day. Another day coming to a close. Lord, as these curtains close on another day, Lord, I pray for strength. I pray that the rhythm of God, the love of Jesus, the power of the Holy Spirit will just strengthen us and carry us, dear God, across the River Jordan. The worries of life, the adversities of life, the doubts of life. Lord, those that are carrying so much in the way of burdens and fears. Lord, just let your love just cover us now. But Lord, we need rest. I pray for those, dear God, that just feel exhausted in the skin that they’re walking in. I pray for rest over our hearts at this moment, whatever that hour is, wherever we are, whatever tribe, whatever language, whatever culture we’re from, Lord, we are looking for Jesus Christ. We’re looking for the rhythm of heaven. We are seeking the Father’s heart tonight. Because Lord, we need to let go and we need to let God. We need to let go of the baggage of the worries, the doubts, the panic attacks, the fears, the worry about tomorrow. Dear God, the worry about the petrol, the diesel, the food, life. Lord God, families, relationships, Lord, the pressure of work, Lord, everything that people are going through. Whatever we may be facing tonight, Lord, we thank you that we are rising in courage right now. That the Spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of us. That we will feel your grace, your mercy, and your favor. And you will just strengthen us, Lord. Lift the burdens, lift the doubts, lift that uncertainty. Lord, we’re looking for spiritual rest. We’re looking for your presence. Because your presence is the fullness of joy. And Lord, you’ve got a plan for every one of our lives.

Leaving History And Fear At The Cross

7:20 Lord, we thank you that there is a plan for our lives, that there is a hope and there is a future. But Lord, help us to rest. Lord, I pray for everyone that just feels agitated. Anyone that feels lost, uncertain, scared and worried about history, the present, and the future. So those three areas of our lives, we present them to the cross of Calvary, and we come to Jesus. Lord, I pray and I thank you that our history is now to the cross, that it’s gone, it’s finished. I thank you, Lord, that it’s over. Lord, that there is freedom from history. Lord, the present situations that we are going through, the toils, the struggles, the worries, the fears, the doubts, whatever we face. Father, we thank you that that is also at the cross of Calvary. Lord, whatever lies ahead, Lord, the overthinking of what lies ahead, what is our future looking like, what lies ahead of us, Father, we thank you. Whatever lies ahead of us, you are already in our future. And we come to you right now and we pray, dear God, that the love of Jesus Christ will be so strong that your mercy and your grace, Lord, will just touch our hearts. Father, we thank you that there is power in the name. Power in the name of Jesus. And Lord, we want to move forward in our lives. Lord, we want to see your glory. We want to feel that presence, Lord. We want to see the love of Jesus just resting over our hearts. Lord, we come to the cross. We say, Father, we pray, dear God, that your love and your grace will just draw us closer. Draw us closer tonight, Lord. That your grace will draw us closer, Lord. Come, Jesus, refresh us.

River Jordan Faith In Floodwater

9:37 Lord, I pray for those that stand at the River Jordan tonight, that are just looking across the river of life. Those, dear God, that are just looking across that river, that river that is at full flood stage. I pray, dear God, for strength that we’ll just hold it in the river of life. Lord, that we will be still when we know that you are gone. So right now, Father, I pray for those that are carrying weight, fear, burdens, and doubts. Lord, as we stand on the riverbank of the river Jordan, Lord, let our light shine. Lord, let our light shine in the face of adversity. But give us the strength, Lord, to keep walking, to keep strong, to keep trusting in the name of Jesus. And Lord, as we stand, dear God, right now in the face of adversity, feeling scared, feeling worried as we look across that river. Lord, as the river of life is at full flood stage. Lord, as the river of life is flowing so powerfully, so strong. Lord, we’re watching the debris be taken down the river of life. And Father, we got to get across to the other side. And Lord, you’ve told us, Lord, just to watch, to taste and see that the Lord is good. So Holy Spirit, Lord, as we look across the plains of Jericho, Lord, we can see the other side of the Jordan. But Lord, this river, Lord, this life, Father God, is strong. The current of life, Father, is so powerful. But Lord, as we stand on the banks right now, the banks of life, we call on the God, the God above all gods, the King above all kings. We call on the name of Jesus. And Father Lord, will you just, Lord, just draw us, dear God, into the promises? Will you bring us to a place of freedom? Will you bring us to a place of hope? Will you bring us to that place, dear God, where we find that freedom? So Lord, as we look at the River Jordan, we feel the power of the river of life. Lord, there’s everything flowing down towards us. Worries and fears, the pressure of life, mortgage payments, social housing issues, work troubles, financial strain, sickness, doubt, fear. Lord, we’re watching everything in the river of life, just flood by our eyes. Dear God, I pray that we’ll keep our eyes on Jesus. Help us, Lord, to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith. Help us to keep our eyes on you, Lord. Help us, dear God, to focus on Jesus through the living word. Draw us to a place of freedom. Draw us to a place, dear God, where we’ll see and feel the beauty of God, your majesty, your glory. You are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom, the King above all kings. But Lord, I pray for everyone that is carrying burdens. And Lord, we’re thinking to ourselves, how am I going to get across to the other side? Lord, how am I going to get across this river of life? The torrent, the strain, the stress, the worry, the fear is great. But Lord, I thank you that we’re rising in our faith. Because Lord, you promised us that promised land. You’ve promised us our lives will flow with milk and honey. You’ve promised us, dear God, the blessings of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. So, Lord, we’re going to go back into enemy’s territory. We’re going to get back into that area, Lord. And we’re going to take back. And we’re going to find restoration. We’re going to find hope tonight, Lord. We’re going to stretch out, stretch in, and stretch to the word of God. I pray for our hearts. I pray for our minds. Lord, let there be strength tonight. Because Lord, that river, that river of life is so strong. That river of life is great and it is powerful. And Lord, it represents so much. But Lord, through this prayer time, through this time, dear God, of seeking the Father’s heart, you’re calling us. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus has rest for you. You’re exhausted, you’re burnt out, carrying the suitcases of life, carrying history, carrying doubt, worries, and fears, broken hearts, unforgiveness, stress, pain, anxiety. Father Lord, take the suitcase away tonight. Take the rucksack off our back. Bring freedom, God. Bring freedom to each and every one of us. Lord, let your blessings flow like summer rain. Let your blessings, dear God, just rain down over our lives tonight. Lord, we want to feel the love of Jesus. We want to feel your presence and your goodness. Lord, we want to walk in the glory, the power, and the anointing. Lord, we believe in healing. We believe in healing. We believe in the power of your word. We believe in the strength of Jesus Christ. We believe in your grace, your favor. And Lord, we need favor tonight. Lord, we need that favor to come like summer rain. Lord, we need that glory. The presence of Jesus. Lord, we’re seeking the Father’s heart. Lord, I pray that we will hear the lion of Judah. And I pray, Lord God, that we will walk in our healing. That we won’t listen to the voice of the world. The voice, dear God, of insecurity. That we won’t listen to the voice of disappointments. That we won’t listen to the voice, dear God, of struggles. We won’t listen to the voice of pain and worry. We won’t listen to any of those voices of the world. But Lord, that we’ll look into Scripture, that our eyes will lock onto the Word of God. And as we read the Word, as we pray through the Word, we thank you that your word is yes and amen. Your word is freedom. And we walk in that freedom. We walk in that word tonight, Lord. We hold on to the promises of God. The scriptures, dear God, are penetrating our skin. Lord, you’re taking the weight, you’re taking the burden. You’re calling us. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Come As You Are Not Later

16:00 Jesus is calling you. Jesus is calling me tonight. He’s saying, Just come as you are. But Lord, I’ll tidy myself up. I’ll get everything ready. I’ll get to church next Sunday, Jesus. Jesus isn’t worried about if we get to church or not. He’s just calling. Jesus is calling you right now. At work, at home, sitting on the sofa. Where you are right now, Jesus Christ is calling you. The power of the Holy Spirit is with you. You are anointed. You are blessed and highly favored. Wonderfully and fearfully made. Father, I pray that we will feel the power of the Holy Spirit like summer rain. Just refreshing us, Lord. The land is scorched. Lord, the land is dry, spiritually dry. Holy Spirit, Lord, we can’t live anymore the way that we’re living. Lord, by emotions and feelings, and by the way of the world. Lord, it’s tiring, it’s exhausting. Lord, we got to live our lives by faith. And Lord, we believe by faith that you are calling us. You are calling us to the kingdom of God. And the kingdom is within. So Lord, again, I pray for those that just feel really burnt out and tired. Exhausting. Those that need spiritual rest. Jesus is calling you. Matthew 11, 28. Through the word of God, let’s open the word of God. Let’s pray through the word. Let’s get in scripture. Let’s make the word of God our first place that we go to. The anchor. Lord, we want your word to be the anchor of our lives. Because the anchor holds. The word of God holds us. And Father, we just want to say thank you that we’re grafted into the vine. That your love is so strong. Your grace is so powerful. Your mercy is over our hearts right now. That we are redeemed. Saved. Children of the living God. Because of the power of salvation. That beautiful gift of freedom is over your life. You are saved. God loves you. He’s not requiring us to go to church. He’s not looking at us to start a new ministry. He’s just calling you. He’s calling you through that beautiful scripture that we started in. Matthew 11, 28. Come to me. All you everyone that is weary and tired. And I will give you rest. Are you tired? Tired of life? Tired of fighting your way through? Tired of trying to find the missing jigsaw piece, the puzzle of life. Holy Spirit, Lord, we got many pieces missing in the puzzle of life, Lord, and we can’t find them. And Lord, there’s so much undone. Lord, there are so many questions unanswered.

The Battlefield Of The Mind

19:04 Lord, I pray for anyone that lives in what was, what could have been. Lord, I pray that we will live in the power of faith. Lord, that we won’t look back at history. We won’t look back, dear God, in the filing drawer of life. Lord, that we won’t go to the filing drawer of history through the power of our mind. Lord, I pray for our minds tonight that we won’t go in that filing drawer, dear God, and open that drawer up and just take out the history, everything that we got on file through the power of the mind. I pray, dear God, that you remove every file, every historical thought, every moment where we were scared and worried and doubtful. Those moments that we keep revisiting, those moments, dear God, of disappointments. I should have turned this way. I should have walked that way. Help us to get away from, I should have done. Lord, I thank you, Lord, that we’re here right now. And Lord, as we come to the cross, we’re just seeking the Father’s heart. But Lord, I pray for the battlefield of the mind, the wasteland of the mind, the filing drawer of the mind. Lord, our mind has so much going on right now. A lot of explosions, thoughts, conversations that we have with ourselves, trying to speak our way through, trying to talk our way out. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will take captive every thought, that you will strengthen our mind tonight. Lord, that we won’t live by this thought process. The filing draw. We keep looking at it, we keep listening to it. We keep going back, they’re gone. But Lord, you tell us don’t look back. Don’t look back, look forward. So Lord, help us to let go and to let God. We’re living, dear God, in a in a bit of a pit, in a bit of a rut. That we feel like we’re walking in quicksand. Lord, that life is very harduous at the moment. I pray, dear God, that the power of God will just shine on us, that the Spirit of the Lord will lift us wherever we are across this world, that your anointing and your power and your glory, your saving grace will just come down. As we said, like that summer rain, refreshing our hearts, refreshing us right now, Lord. Pour out your glory. Pour out your glory, Lord. Help us to pick up that cross, to pick up the cross. Daily. And Lord, when we understand to pick up the cross, it’s actually freedom. Freedom at the cross. All burdens go, all fear goes, all doubt goes, all uncertainty. It’s left at the cross. Father, we got so much going on in our minds. Lord, we’re trying to work stuff out. But you’re calling us, you’re calling us, dear God, through the word tonight. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Do you need rest? Do you need rest for your spirit? Rest for your heart. Rest for your mind. The Bible says in Romans 8 28, in all things, God works for the good of those who love him. Father, I thank you for that scripture. Lord, help me to trust you in hardship. Help me, dear God, to endure, because you tell us through the great writer of Romans, in all things, God works for the good. In every situation, every rock face of life, every valley of life, every doubt of life. The feeling of being scared and worried. Lord, those unexpected situations that are just arising in our face. You tell us that all things work. The good, the bad, the ugly, the ins and the outs, the storms, the outward storms, the inward storms, you tell us that all things, all things on this earth, all situations, all thoughts, all emotions, every area of life, in all things, God works for the good. So Lord, when we think it’s bad, God’s turning it for good. When we think it’s over, God is about to restore. When we think that there’s just no way forward, a door opens in a wall. I believe that the power of God is calling you. And he’s saying, just let go of your worries. Let go of everything that is troubling you tonight. But then we shout out, Lord, how do I let go? Lord, I’m holding on to everything for dear life. Lord, my hands are molded into the handles of these suitcases that I’m carrying. My back, dear God, has almost got this rucksack grafted into the skin now. I don’t know how to let go. Lord, help me to let go. Help me to let go, dear God. To let go of the fear, to let go of the doubts and the insecurities. Lord, it’s in my mind. Lord, I keep hearing it. I keep hearing it, the teaching on it, the church talking about it. But Lord, I’ve still got it. I don’t know how to let go. Teach me, Lord, to trust you. Lord, as I look for faith, Lord, I see that faith is invisible, it’s not tangible. And Lord, when the world, dear God, is pressing on me, when the stress of life, Lord, and just the rhythm of culture, the intensity of life, Lord, when I’ve got that press on me, Lord, it’s difficult to stretch out because I’m weighed down with burdens and worries and fears. And Lord, it’s like the world is just trying to cloud my vision, my focus. Holy Spirit, I pray, will you help me to let go? Help me to let go, dear God, of those old conversations. Help me to let go of the past habits. Help me to let go of all those conversations that I’m still having in my head. Help me to let go and to let God move. Please, Jesus. Lord God, take our hands tonight. Take our hands tonight, Lord. Take our hands and lead us through the valley. Lord, take our hands because, Lord, it’s so dark in the valley. We can’t see, Lord. It’s so dark, Lord. Sometimes our eyes are just clouded with fear and doubt and uncertainty. Lord, take our hands. Father, lead us tonight. Lead us through the journey of life. Holy Spirit, just bring that comfort. Be the comforter, Lord, that we read about. God, I pray for comfort tonight. I pray that you’ll bring comfort, security, and guidance.

Psalm 23 Still Waters And Safety

27:23 If you are troubled, I invite you to turn to Psalm 23. Psalm 23, read that. He’s your security. He’s your comfort. He’s your guide. He’s the good shepherd. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. Holy Spirit, lead us to still waters, because the river of life, the river Jordan, is at full flood stage. Holy Spirit, be that shepherd that protects us from the wolves, the dogs, the mutilators of the flesh, the foxes that keep nipping at our ankle, time and time and time again. Just that bark, that relentless bark of the world. That relentless bark of mental health and doubt. That relentless bark, dear God, that just keeps coming, that’s just in our head, Lord. Holy Spirit, Lord, sweep through our minds tonight. God loves you. You are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. You are not who the world says you are. You belong to Jesus. We belong to Jesus Christ. And he’s calling. It is simple tonight. He’s calling through Matthew 11, 28. How do we know his calling? Open up the word of God. Get yourself a Bible. Turn to Psalm 23. And boy, before you sleep, before you go to work. Whatever the hour is, whatever the rhythm is, read Psalm 23. Read it in the stillness, whether you’re in a van, in the car, on the train, at home, sitting up in bed right now, at your desk. Get it on your laptop, get it on your desktop, get it on your phone. And take yourself through Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. Tell yourself that the good shepherd is looking after you. Tell yourself that the good shepherd looks after the flock. And it doesn’t matter because he never slumbers, he doesn’t sleep. The God of Israel never slumbers, he never sleeps. God is with you. The shepherd is leading you. You might be like a sheep that is trapped on the rock face of life. Just right on the edge of everything. And through the beautiful New Testament, Jesus said out loud, we’re gonna stop our journey for a minute because someone’s gone missing. He said, Someone is missing from the fold. Someone is missing, someone has gone a bit wayward. See the story of the prodigal son. The prodigal son. He went off, he lived his life, he spent everything he had. But the father was waiting for the son. The father’s waiting for us. Jesus is calling us. The Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, is with us.

Rejecting Political Noise And Numbers

31:14 So we’ve got the shepherd protecting us from the wolves. We’ve got the shepherd protecting us from political language. There are so many politicians that are dressed in suits and dresses, but they’re wolves in sheep’s clothing. Do not listen to the political language. Do not listen to the rhythm of the world. Listen to the voice of God. Don’t get entrapped by what the world is saying. Number 10 isn’t gonna get you saved. Number 10 won’t even feed you. Number 10 doesn’t even know who we are. We’re just a national insurance number and a tax code. That’s all we are. But Jesus knows you. You’re not a tax code, you’re grafted into the vine. You’re not a number, you’re a child of the living God. You are either a son or you are a daughter. Jesus loves you. The political framework is not bothered. We are just a number. We’re just a statistic. But God loves you. God loves you. Don’t get drawn into the table tennis of the political chat right now. Don’t allow that to draw you away from what God has for us. Be sharp, be focused. Read the word of God. Number ten will not feed you. It’s not even bothered about us. God will put food on your table. God will protect you. God will draw you. God will lead you. He’s your provider. Jehovah Nissi. Jehovah Shalom. He is the Lion of Judah. The Lion of Judah. And He loves you. And there’s nothing on this earth that can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. No weapon forged against us shall prosper. No tongue that will rise in condemnation. God will close the mouth of every lion, every area of life. And God is calling us. But we got to get this clear. He’s not calling us to church. He’s calling us through this prayer time together.

Drop The Nets And Learn Surrender

34:20 And he’s saying, Come on, jump out of the boat of monotony. Jump out of that boat. And trust me. He’s saying, Cast your nets. Cast your nets. Cast your nets. But Lord, we’ve been fishing all night. Lord, we’re tired, we’re exhausted. It’s very interesting that the disciples after the crucifixion of Christ, hours and moments went by. And he said, I’m going back fishing. I’m going back to what I used to do. We can’t go back. Because that great powerful story. When they went back fishing, they went back to their old stuff. The old stuff wasn’t working. They cast the nets. They caught nothing. See, we can’t go back. You gotta keep walking. And Jesus said to the two on the shoreline of Galilee, drop those nets, come and follow me. Jesus, these nets, these fishing nets, they represent my livelihood. These fishing nets, Jesus, represent my business. These nets, Dick on, are everything I got. It’s putting food on the table. Lord, they’re everything. But Jesus says, drop ’em. Drop your nets, come or follow me. Because what Jesus is saying is just trust me with your business. Trust me with your family. Trust me with your life. See, the fishermen cast their nets. And they was fishing all night. They was fishing in bewilderment. They was fishing in frustration. They was fishing in emotions. And they caught nothing. It was their skill. It was their business. But Jesus is saying, Come and follow me. But Lord, we’ve been fishing all night, they said. And Christ called them. He said, Friends, haven’t you any fish? And they looked across the lake. Wasn’t sure who it was. We’ve been fishing all night. Do you feel like you’ve been fishing all night? You’ve been working so hard. Day in, day out, casting your net, and nothing is coming forward. You’re working so hard. You got two jobs. You’re balancing life, family, relationships. Watching the bank every second, every moment. We’re getting stressed out now because the petrol’s gone up a few quid again today. And the nets are not fit for purpose. We can’t cast the nets wide enough. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will let go of these nets. And Father, we will just lift our hands to Jesus and just say, Lord, I surrender tonight. I surrender tonight, Lord. Lord, I don’t even know how to surrender. I can just say it because, Lord, my mind is awash. And Lord, help me to surrender. Help me to breathe. Help me to inhale and to exhale. Help me to breathe right now, Lord. Help me, dear God, just to take time and to say, please, Lord, help me to surrender my life to you. Because Lord, I’m 50-50 at the minute. Actually, Lord, sometimes it goes to 70-30. Actually, Lord, sometimes it goes to 90-10. The wrong way around, Lord. Because I’m fishing. Because I’m living my life by sight. I’m living my life by sensual perception. I’m living my life by the natural way of the world. And Lord, I’m tired of fishing. Because I’m catching nothing. We’re hungry, Lord. The bank’s empty. The nets are empty. The credit card is loaded. We’re struggling, Jesus. But Jesus says, Come on. Lift your hands tonight. Pray over your bank. Pray over the cupboards. Pray over the children. And say, Jesus, I surrender. Lord, I can’t live my life like this anymore. It’s too frantic, it’s too crazy, it’s too wild. Lord, I can’t keep fishing. Because Lord, nothing’s being pulled in. The nets are empty. Father, the fuel tank in the van is empty, Lord. It’s running on red. The car, dear God, the fuel tank, it’s running on red. The needle hardly ever gets off that flashing light anymore, Jesus. Lord, I’m putting 20 pounds in and it’s going nowhere. Lord, I’ve I’ve got to do the score runs. I’ve got to do the food runs. Lord, I’ve got to get to work. Holy Spirit, help us to surrender. Such a difficult thing to do. But the holy Joes and the religious lot will tell you they surrender everything. Don’t listen to the liars. When you follow Jesus, when you follow the King, when you follow the Lord, when you decide to say, Jesus, I want more of you. Lord, I can’t live this life like no more. Suddenly you find that everything breaks out against you. The rhythm of life is like being on a roller coaster. When you say to yourself, I’m gonna read the word, I’m gonna pray, I’m gonna lock into Jesus. Suddenly we find the roller coaster of life. The yo-yoing of life. We’re casting our nets. Father, there’s a hole in this net. Lord, I’m working so hard. Lord, I just want to provide. I just want to do what I’ve got to do. But Lord, the world is against me. It feels like, Lord, the world is a tsunami wave and it keeps coming and it keeps crashing on my life and it takes me, dear God. And Lord, sometimes I feel like I’m gonna drown in the worries and the fears. Sometimes it feels like, Lord, I’m gonna be swept away, Lord. Holy Spirit, I pray, as we come to the table tonight, Lord, for everyone that feels that they’ve been swept away. Everyone, dear God, that is fishing and they’re pulling the nets in, and the bank is empty. As quick as it goes in the bank, it’s out the other side. As quick as I put the diesel in, it’s being drained out the other way. When I walk around a supermarket and I’m looking at what I’m buying because I’m worried, because the nets are empty. Lord, I’m measuring life all the time. I’m chasing my towel. I’m at work and I’m exhausted. I’m rushing back, I’m cooking, I’m mining, I’m cleaning. I’m doing everything, Lord, and I’m tired. Lord, the nets are empty. I believe Jesus is calling. The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God and thy righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto thee. Shall we let those nets go tonight as we come to the table? Shall we just focus on Jesus for a moment? I invite you to get your Bible and to go to Psalm 23. Get it on your phone, get it on the tablet, get it on your screen. But get yourself a paperback version and go to Psalm 23 and just keep reading. Just keep reading. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He’s restoring my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his namesake. Even though I walk. Through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Lord, you prepare a table before me in the presence of our enemies. Tonight, Lord, prepare that table. Prepare that banquet right in the battlefield. Right in the field, the firing line. Lord, protect me. Lord, refuel us at the table in the battlefield. The Bible says that God will prepare a table before you, a banquet table in the battlefield. There is restoration in the battlefield. There is hope on the front line of life. There is refreshment. There is living water. There is hope. There are promises. There is power. There is anointing in the Word of God. It is the Bible. That is all that is required. We don’t need another book on philosophy, theological debts, the best way to hold on to money. Another book on something else. We just need the book. The greatest book. But when you decide to read the book, things will happen. The doorbell will go, WhatsApp will kick off, social media, the kids will start screaming. The world will just start trying to take you away from the book. There’s life in the book. We got to be disciplined. We got to get time to be in the book. We got to get in that book. And that book will get in us. Because the Bible says, Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

Communion At The Table In Battle

46:37 And right now, I invite you. I invite you to come to the table. Will you grab a bit of bread, a bit of grape juice? And just take a moment, just one minute. It just takes a minute. A few seconds to pause. Holy Spirit, we come to you. And Lord, we just got some bread here. Holy God. I thank you, dear God, that we’re sinners saved by grace. Sinners saved by grace. So Lord, we want to walk deeper with you. We want to walk in your presence. Lord, tonight, as we break bread, as we take at a cup, Holy Spirit, Lord, keep inviting us in, Lord. Just bring us into that place, Lord. That holy place. Take us behind the vow. Take us into that secret place. That place, dear God, where it’s still, where it’s quiet. Holy God. Lord, as we break bread together now, we simply just break the bread. And Lord, we say, Father, thank you. That this bread symbolizes the body of Christ. And as we take this, Jesus, I thank you that your body was broken for every one of us. Come, Holy Spirit, minister to us tonight. Come, Holy Spirit, help us to surrender tonight. Come, Holy Spirit, help us to let go and to let God break bread with me. Holy Spirit, we ask you one thing. Wrap us up. Wrap us up, dear God. Draw us close. Bring us in. Help us, Lord. So, Father, we thank you tonight for this cup that symbolizes the blood of Jesus. This simple thing. I ask you, God, as we’ve broken bread and we take this cup now, cleanse us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. Wash us in the crimson tide. Please, God, carry those that are scared. Release those that are carrying burdens and worries and doubts. Spirit of the living God, release us in the greatest name in heaven and earth. But Lord, we recognize that this is just grape juice. But what it represents is the blood of the King. Jesus. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So Father, thank you for this opportunity. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Jesus is calling. The Holy Spirit is calling you to the Word of God. Don’t worry about getting to church next week. Don’t worry about getting church tomorrow. Just open up the Word of God. Right now, wherever you are, at home, at work. If you haven’t got access to a Bible, get it on your computer and get Psalm 23. Six verses of power and authority. The Bible says, seek ye first the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else shall be added to thee. Holy Spirit, in the close of this service, help us to let go of the nets of life. Help us to let go of the suitcases of life. Help us to surrender. Lord, I see surrender as this. Jesus, I don’t know how to let go of my thought pattern. I’m not quite sure how to surrender. But Lord, whatever that represents, however I need to present it to you, help me through revelational knowledge reveal what I need to do. And Lord, as I just surrender, and I believe that that is through the power of conversation. I speak about my fears, my worries, my doubts, my uncertainties. I just surrender everything through the power of conversation. And I say, Lord, where I don’t know how to surrender. I don’t know what rhythm that looks like. Will you help me? Will you show me through the word how to surrender my life to you? Help me, Lord, to let go of the nets. Because Lord, actually, these fishing nets of life, I’m getting tangled in these nets. Because Lord, I’m not fishing right. These nets, dear God, are causing me more trouble. The more I throw out these nets, the more harder it becomes. Jesus is calling you. He’s calling every one of us. We are living in very powerful, we are living in brutal days. As I said, number 10 will never feed us, never take care of us. The political arena is for the elite. The political arena is for itself. But Jesus is for you. Jesus is calling you. Jesus is saying, Come to me. And as we pedal out of this prayer time together at this hour, the scripture that we started in was Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Meeting Jesus Through Scripture Daily

53:55 Come to me. How do I do this? This Jesus was on the cross over 2,300 years or somewhere round about there ago. He’s ascended to the heavenly realms. I can’t see him with my natural eyes. So Lord, how do I do this? How do I do what Matthew 11, 28 says? Come to you. Because Lord, everything in this world is visible. But Lord, I need to see you with faith. Wherever you are, I want to tell you how to see Jesus. You get that Bible again, and you open it up. And as you read, you’re reading the heart of God. You’re reading the word. You’re reading the Father’s heart. You’re reading the history. You’re reading the prophets, the New Testament. You’re reading the poetic language of David. You’re reading Kings. You’re reading power and authority. You’re reading what God has given to us. So now we see Jesus in a different way. He says, I am the word, the living word. And the word became flesh. See, it’s the word, it is that, it is that scripture. It is Genesis to revelation. That is the deity. And as you read that, the Holy Spirit, through God and through Christ, will reveal the word to you through revelational knowledge. If you’re struggling reading, listen to it on an audio. Listen to it through one of the platforms of a narrator reading the scripture. But when you open up the word of God, whether a paperback version, whether an audio narrative being read to you, when you listen and you read, that is Jesus. Just read. Just read. So when the scripture says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. You get to Jesus through the word. He says, I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It’s through Scripture. It’s through Scripture, it’s in Scripture, it is the Word of God. Come to me. All of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Wherever you are at this hour, I pray that as you read the Word, you see Jesus, you see the Holy Spirit, you see the Father’s heart. Don’t give up reading. Don’t give up reading or listening to the scripture.

Endurance Hope And Closing Blessing

57:45 We’re on a journey called endurance. Life is an endurance race. And what I mean by race, don’t live it at a pace. Live life at a gentle rhythm through the word. Life is a journey, an amazing journey with Jesus. And God has got an adventure for you. Age is irrelevant. Age, physicality is irrelevant. Because when you follow Jesus, all things are possible to those who believe. Father, I thank you for every heart that’s with me tonight. I pray, dear God, as we lock shields of faith throughout the course of the week. I pray, dear God, that we won’t give up praying. Father, that we’ll dig deeper into scripture, that we’ll seek the Father’s heart. The Bible in Isaiah 45, I believe, talks about hidden treasures. There are hidden treasures in that word. There is healing. There is prosperity. There is hope. There is the meaning of life. And there is a plan in hidden treasures. The word of God has got so much hidden under the fabric of the text. When you read that, you’re finding treasure. The Bible says, do not store up for yourselves treasures on this earth. But get in the scripture. Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven through the power of the word of God. Don’t ever give up. Don’t ever give in. Because there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. We’re out of here. We’re peddling out of here tonight. And we pray that you will seek the Father’s heart. And you will seek him. And he will be found. Jesus is waiting. He’s calling you. He’s calling you to the Word of God. It is the Word of God. There is no other way. There is no other book. There is no other rhythm. It is through Genesis to revelation. The story of humanity. The story of creation. The story of redemption. The story of life. God is calling. Once again, I thank you so much for joining us.
