Fear Will Not Win

Day 1 of 10

Today’s Scripture • Romans 8:38–39

“Nothing… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:39 (NIV)

Devotional Reflection

One of the deepest fears we can carry is the fear of being separated from love. Life changes. Circumstances shift. People sometimes disappoint us, and we can even disappoint ourselves. Over time, those experiences can quietly influence how we think God feels about us.

Romans 8 offers one of the greatest assurances in all of Scripture. Paul does not promise that life will always be easy, but he does declare something far greater. Nothing has the power to separate those who belong to Christ from the love of God. Not hardship. Not failure. Not uncertainty. Not even fear itself.

As you begin this ten-day journey, let this truth become the foundation beneath every step you take. God’s love is not based on your performance, your emotions or your circumstances. His love is rooted in His unchanging character and secured through Jesus Christ.

Before fear has the opportunity to speak today, allow God’s voice to speak first.

His love is holding you.

Today’s Truth

Nothing can separate me from God’s everlasting love in Christ.

Today’s Anchor

God’s love is stronger than every fear I face.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your unfailing love. Jesus, help me rest securely in Your promises. Holy Spirit, remind me today that nothing can separate me from Your loving care. Amen.
