Hidden Treasure Mental Health
Heartbreak & Separation
Healing for rejection, breakups, distance and the loss of a relationship. The pain is real, but it does not decide your future or your worth.
Healing takes time
You are allowed to grieve what changed
Heartbreak can affect sleep, appetite, concentration, confidence and the sense of who you are. Recovery can be slow and uneven.
Create space
Reduce contact or reminders when they repeatedly reopen the wound and prevent rest.
Share honestly
Tell a safe person what has happened instead of carrying the pain alone.
Rebuild gently
Return slowly to routines, friendships, interests and places that remind you who you are.
What heartbreak may feel like
Emotionally
Sadness, anger, rejection, confusion, longing or feeling emotionally numb.
Physically
Poor sleep, appetite changes, exhaustion, chest tightness or restlessness.
In thoughts
Replaying events, blaming yourself, hoping for answers or fearing the future.
