Fear Will Not Win

Day 25 of 30

Today’s Scripture • Psalm 28:7

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.”

Psalm 28:7 (NIV)

Devotional Reflection

Today completes the fifth stage of your journey. Over these past twenty-five days, you have travelled from fear towards faith, from uncertainty towards confidence and from carrying heavy burdens to discovering the freedom found in Christ. As you pause today, remember that none of this has happened through your own strength. It has all been made possible because the Lord Himself has been your strength and your shield.

A shield protects what is precious. David knew that God’s protection was not only for times of danger but for everyday life. The Lord watches over His people with faithful love, giving strength when they feel weak and courage when they feel uncertain.

As you reflect on your own journey, notice how your prayers have changed. At the beginning, many of them may have been filled with fear and unanswered questions. Now they are increasingly filled with trust, gratitude and hope. That quiet transformation is evidence of God’s faithful work within your heart.

Tomorrow you enter the final stage of this devotional. The journey is almost complete, but God’s work in your life is not. Continue trusting Him, knowing that the One who has strengthened you so far will remain your strength for every day still to come.

Today’s Truth

The Lord is my strength, my shield and my faithful helper.

Today’s Anchor

Prayer

Father, thank You for being my strength and my shield. Jesus, continue to lead me with courage and peace. Holy Spirit, help me trust You more deeply with every new day. Amen.
