Put The Kettle On And Hand It To Jesus
Sunday night has a way of turning the volume up on everything we carry: the week ahead, the bills, the commute, the family pressures, the quiet fears we try not to name. We meet that moment with prayer and with a steady promise from Scripture: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46).

God is our refuge and strength
Whether you are at home with the kettle on, on shift, travelling, or sitting in a hospital waiting room, this prayer asks the Holy Spirit to wrap you in peace and remind you that you are not alone.
When pressure is real and the mind will not switch off, God remains a place of safety, strength, and rest.
We ask for real rest instead of coping on empty, trusting the peace of God to guard our hearts and minds.
What this prayer covers
We ask the Holy Spirit for freedom, healing, and a deeper walk with Jesus that carries us into the week ahead.
Refuge and safety
Grounding hope in Psalm 46 and trusting God as a place of safety and rest when fear and pressure rise.
Anxiety and mental health
Prayer over panic attacks, racing thoughts, depression, dread, and the emotions that can feel impossible to settle.
Leaving the past
Refusing to live in the “library of history” and choosing to leave the past at the cross so the mind can be refreshed.
Healing and miracles
Bold prayer for migraines, arthritis, fatigue, pain, lungs, hearing, vision, grief, and hurts that are difficult to name.
More than religion
Asking for a deeper relationship with Jesus that moves beyond routine and carries real peace into daily life.
Peace for the week
Speaking protection and strength over the commute, work, family pressures, finances, and the days ahead.
Prayer chapters
Choose a chapter and the video will jump straight to that moment.
Peace for the real weight of life
There is room here to breathe, surrender, and find spiritual rest without pretending life is easy.
When Sunday night gets loud
The week ahead, bills, the commute, family pressure, and quiet fears are brought honestly into prayer instead of being carried alone.
When dread arrives
Panic attacks, racing thoughts, depression, and sudden fear are named without shame as we ask the Holy Spirit to renew the mind and emotions.
The library of history
The past does not have to control the next chapter. We leave old pain at the cross and ask God to sweep through and refresh the mind.
Prayer for the body
Migraines, arthritis, tired bodies, lungs, hearing, vision, grief, and hidden hurts are placed before Jesus with faith for healing and miracles.
An online church family
Across nations and time zones, we make space for repentance, redemption, belonging, and a living relationship with Jesus.
Strength for Monday
The prayer closes by speaking peace, protection, and courage over work, travel, responsibilities, and every part of the week ahead.
Communion at home
Break bread together
Will you grab yourself a cup, just a bit of grape juice? And just grab yourself a bit of bread. With simple bread and a drink, we remember the cross and make space for repentance, redemption, cleansing, restoration, and peace in Jesus.
